Company Account Setup

Your new company account needs to be properly configured and provisioned before allowing your employees or public users to start subscribing to its services. You need to populate your Company account with DID phone numbers and subscription keys, define Service Packages and call restrictions, configure remote access to e-mails and public contacts, etc.

List of required setup tasks

The list of required company account setup tasks depends on the type of company account. All required tasks must be completed when you login for the first time as the Company Administrator. Any tasks remaining will be shown in the Company  Account Setup Status section of your Settings page.
  1. Private Company Accounts: A private company account is used for groups whose members are known (i.e. employees). The creation of user accounts is initiated and authorized by the Company Administrator. Users get their new account credentials by email. They don't have to signup and they don't have to enter any billing information because their account charges are paid by their company.

  2. Public Service Accounts: A public service is a virtual account used for online public subscriptions. Customers go to a Web site to signup. They choose their subscription packages and options, enter their user information and their billing method. Public companies don't pay for their users.

Your Company Account is Ready to Use

Once you have completed the setup of your company account and tested it on the Web and by phone, you are ready to make your new virtual assistant services available to users.

Keep Your Account Credentials in a Safe Place. You will need your e-mail address and password each time you want to login as the company account administrator. Make sure that this information is safely kept and protected.

Online Help and Support

It is normal that you need help when you start using the system

Like many people who start using a new technology, you might need some help on how to use the Evatel services efficiently. Voice recognition is a leading edge technology that has made a lot of progress over the past years. It enables people to command computers using their own voice. Speech technology is getting better and better in natural language understanding, but it still did not reach perfection. Research continues and Evatel will integrate newer technologies as they become available. In the meantime, quick reference cards and interactive practice sessions are offered to help users master the Exendia commands.

Have users download and read the Quick Reference card

The best way for users to start is to read these express user guides. They contain a summary of the commands for different services. Have users download, view and print the quick reference card for everyday use.

Context-Sensitive Voice & Web Help

Users can also get context-sensitive help while using specific functions. During phone sessions, the help is provided in the form of voice capsules and interactive practice sessions. On the Web, help is provided in the form of Web pages. In some cases, users may be offered the option to receive written instructions.
